Simple, pure, wholesome ingredients cultivated with care at every step. All the ingredients used in our hemp infusions are non-GMO, and organic when available. They are always sustainably grown and sourced from our own farm or local farms when possible.
We use organic hemp that is cultivated sustainably, in full sun, in the clean fertile soil of Colorado, and without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. (Why this matters) We tincture and infuse our hemp using small batch, traditional, artisan methods. We plan to grow and source our hemp in Hawaii within the next year as hemp permits become available in the state.
We source our turmeric from our own Honaunau Farm. It is hand cultivated and sustainably grown. Our turmeric is tinctured in certified organic sugar cane alcohol or infused into certified organic Hawaiian Macadamia Nut Oil.
Our sustainably grown passionflower comes from our own Honaunau Farm where it is hand-cultivated just before processing. From the stem of this climbing vine to its majestic flowers, we capture the full range of active constituents throughout the plant. Our passionflower is tinctured in certified organic cane alcohol.
We source our certified organic macadamia nut oil from Mahina Mele Farm on the Big Island. It is single pressed to retain its vitality; and since the macadamia nuts are dehydrated at low temperatures instead of the traditional roasting process, they qualify as nutrient-rich raw food.
We blend rare Lehua Honey, which comes from the native, endemic Ohi'a tree and organic Wilelaiki honey. The Oh'ia tree is part of Hawaiian mythology. Wilelaiki honey is collected from the Christmas berry tree which thrives in the lower elevations of Hawaii. Our Coconut oil is raw, certified organic and sourced from sustainably farmed coconuts. It provides a smooth texture as the base for our Comfrey and Plantain infusions.
We use certified organic beeswax sourced locally when available. This clean, filtered byproduct of honey production acts as a binder and protectant in our salve.
We source most our vanilla beans through a local farm collective. This ripened fruit of a tropical orchid exudes its recognizable warm flavor in our certified organic macadamia nut oil.
We source our comfrey from Honaunau Farm, grown in fertile soil above layers of lava rock. Used for thousands of years, we infuse this garden medicinal in certified organic coconut oil.
Our Ocean Fire Cinnamon comes from Adaptations Farm on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is a certified organic whole bark cinnamon made from hand-harvested bark of the cinnamon tree. It is from Cinnamomum verum or True Cinnamon. Most of the cinnamon sold in the United States is cassia, which is darker and has a sharper flavor. True cinnamon is considered to have a warmer, sweeter, wider profile flavor.
Our alcohol is made from certified organic sugarcane. It is pharmaceutical-grade and tested by an independent lab to ensure purity standards. Our cane alcohol serves as a clean base for optimal extraction in our tinctures and is gluten-free.
Our plantain thrives at Honaunau Farm where it is a constant companion to the other herbs we are growing. Freshly harvested prior to processing, our plantain is infused in certified organic coconut oil.
